Rules of procedure

PREAMBLE

These rules and regulations are posted at every entrance to the hotel. A paper or digital copy ( flashcode consultation) can be consulted at reception. Any person entering the hotel is deemed to have read and accepted these rules.

Villa Haussmann is a private establishment open to the public, providing mainly 4-star hotel services.

For the purposes of these rules, the following terms are defined:
- "Hotel": the entity responsible for the Premises and providing the services, as well as its representatives (in particular its staff)
- "Premises": all the premises making up the hotel: rooms, common areas, staff areas.
-
- "Visitor": any person (passer-by, Hotel service provider, Customer, staff, etc.) entering the Premises.
- "Customer": any person who has booked a service with the Hotel and is therefore admitted to the Premises.

GENERAL ORGANIZATION

The premises are open and freely accessible, 24 hours a day.

The hotel may, at any time, require Visitors to comply with certain special measures (access restrictions, wearing of masks, etc.) for security or health reasons, even in the absence of specific legislation imposing such measures.

Visitors must respect the premises and their equipment (furniture, decorative elements, etc.), and inform the hotel of any reprehensible act (damage, vandalism, breach of decency, offence against public decency, etc.).

The use of the Premises must be carried out in such a way as to preserve peace and quiet and not to undermine public order and morality, which implies compliance with regulations and excludes any agitated or offensive behavior. In particular, it is forbidden to:

- Smoking or vaping.
- Dressing indecently.
- Possessing, using or consuming illegal or dangerous products.
It is particularly forbidden for any person to bring into the hotel any material, device or other item of any kind whatsoever, which would allow the consumption by inhalation of nitrous oxide or any other gas known as "laughing gas".
This includes, in particular, balloons, gas cylinders and capsules of any size, and siphons or equipment of any kind used to inflate balloons.
Villa Haussmann staff may require any Customer to leave such items at reception, and may in any event request the immediate departure of any offender, without this entailing any compensation whatsoever.
- Infringe the rules of use indicated by the pictograms displayed, particularly concerning elevators.
- Deposit garbage outside the garbage cans.
- Demonstrate, run, shout, dance, sing, make a ruckus, throw or drop objects, display banners, put up inscriptions, play games or engage in sporting, religious or excessively noisy activities.
- Clutter the premises by storing anything (bicycles, packages, suitcases, etc.). Any suspicious object (abandoned, chained to furniture or of dubious origin) may, for security reasons, be sequestered, or even damaged and destroyed, exclusively at the expense, risk and peril of its depositor.
- Adopting disrespectful, inappropriate or indecent behaviour towards Customers, staff or Hotel service providers.
In particular, any physical or verbal aggression of any kind will result in immediate eviction from the Premises, if necessary with the assistance of the police.

As a general rule, any damage caused by offenders will be charged to them.

Any person contravening the provisions of the present Regulations may be asked to leave the Premises, without being able to claim damages of any kind.

Items found by hotel staff will be stored in a secure room for a period of 3 years, in accordance with the law.

These objects will be returned at the Visitor's first request, the Villa Haussmann nevertheless reserving the right to demand any document required to confirm ownership of the object or guarantee its return to its owner (invoice, identity document of the person mandated to recover the object, etc.).

Where applicable, the Visitor shall bear all shipping costs and risks.

Video protection

All common areas are under video protection to ensure the safety of people and property. Cameras are positioned to film every access point to the hotel.

As such, it relies on the legal basis of legitimate interest, in accordance with Article 6.1.f of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Given the purpose and positioning of the cameras, the processing concerns all Hotel Visitors.
