La Clef Verte is the first international sustainable tourism label for tourist accommodation and restaurants in France.

Villa Haussmann**** is committed to ecology. Commitment is one of our core values, a powerful action that translates into a collective movement. All our staff have rallied around a single objective: to obtain the Clef Verte label.
Villa Haussmann adapts to an ecological approach
In order to adopt an ecological approach, La Villa Haussmann**** had to raise awareness among both its staff and customers. Staff have been trained in best practices and eco-responsible gestures, and informative posters on the gestures to adopt have been put up for our customers.
Training is good, putting it into practice is better!
We have implemented water-saving systems, 80% of our lighting is LED and we have installed motion detectors in several areas to limit energy wastage. Our consumption of single-use plastic has been reduced, no disposable crockery is offered and the establishment is entirely non-smoking. The majority of our products are received in bulk or in large containers to limit packaging.
Sorting bins have been placed in the rooms to encourage our customers to adopt the right gestures.
La Villa Haussmann is committed to your health and comfort, using organic products or products bearing sustainable labels in its dishes.
Our cleaning products are eco-labeled and our swimming pool is treated with a salt electrolysis system.

“Obtaining the Clef Verte label is part of a structuring and deeply engaging process for our establishment. This approach has also led to a profound change in our purchasing policy. We now give priority to products produced in France, using short, seasonal channels, in line with our values of responsibility, quality and support for the local economy.
In addition, the Clef Verte label has guided our choices in terms of renovating and fitting out our spaces. We have opted for an ecological approach, favoring the restoration and enhancement of existing furniture rather than its systematic replacement, in order to limit our environmental footprint while preserving the establishment’s identity.
Through this label, we aim to meet the expectations of an increasingly demanding clientele that is attentive to environmental issues. For us, the Green Key is a guarantee of credibility, consistency and transparency, and enables us to offer a hotel experience in line with the current challenges of preserving the environment and reducing our ecological footprint.”
